Project Explanation - Video Showcase
The main goal of WellBIM is to demonstrate the the use of Digital Twin will improve the confort and indoor air quality of buildings, bringing to users valuable information.
The project consists of obtaining measurements of CO2 concentration of the exterior and interior of a room, as well as the automatic detection of people in the room, crossing the data with the BIM model as a reference in order to analyse them within a common platform where the information can be extracted and presented.
Our solution will be integrated in POWERBIM: a Digital Twin platform that helps to effectively and efficiently manage the all kind of assets throughout their life cycle, from their design, through their construction, use, maintenance and management until their renovation, since today, (the existing building stock represents the main challenge for a more efficient energy use.)

BIM + IOT + DATA INSIGHTS
IOT Technology is key factor in WellBIM project, IOT devices are the bridge between Real and Virtual technology. The result of implementing IOT in Buildings is BigData, and increasingly amount of data we need to manage using technology just to be able to understand it, prepare it for professionals and users to monitor what’s is going on and to take decisions.
This technology needs to be accompanied by professionals taking decisions in order to fine tune the functionalities of analysing and extracting results from data, the results are calculated by algoritms but professionals in our team will install devices before take data to be processed.
CONCLUSIONS
Wellbim it solves the problem to detect when interior conditions are good or bad for the spaces we live and we work (90% of the time for people in cities), so it contributes to improve interior conditions in buildings.
WellBIM monitors:
- ambiental variables: temperature / humidity / ext-int using simple IoT wireless devices
- air polutants: C02 / formaldehid and others
- occupancy in real time: using a counting camera technology in up the entrance
- poll results of people confort feeling from an app available in the space
WellBIM calculates:
- the IAQ (indoor air quality index) from the relationship between occupancy and variables
- we can notify specified user to open windows and other warnings set in variables
- dashboard analytics for all systems integrated to BIM openbim IFC4 models
